Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AiBhive websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), including AiBhive Pros (field diagnosis for trade companies) and the main AiBhive consumer app. By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Important — field & AI disclaimer: AiBhive Pros provides AI-assisted troubleshooting guidance for trained trade professionals. Outputs are not a substitute for manufacturer documentation, licensed engineering judgment, electrical code compliance, medical advice, or legal advice. You and your employer remain responsible for verifying every step, following lockout/tagout and safety procedures, and complying with applicable codes and regulations before performing work.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use AiBhive Pros in a professional field context.
Company accounts are managed by an employer or authorized manager. Techs join via a team code issued by that company.
You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure.

2. Accounts & company relationships

AiBhive Pros HQ (web) is operated by the company that creates the account. Managers control roster access, invite codes, and company AI keys.
Field app access may be revoked by your employer at any time by removing you from the company roster.
Consumer AiBhive accounts (Google sign-in, Hive credits) are subject to the same Terms with features described on aibhive.com.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
Submit customer passwords, government IDs, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive personal data into AI chat unless you intend for it to be processed
Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our APIs
Misrepresent AI-generated content as certified professional advice
Share team codes publicly or with unauthorized parties

4. AI-generated content

Diagnose replies, voice narration, and pack library matches are generated by software and may be incomplete or incorrect.
Photos, voice audio, and text you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers configured by AiBhive or your company (for example xAI Grok, Cartesia).
You grant us and your company the rights needed to operate the Services (store job notes, sync diagnostics, improve reliability). See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Anonymous field tips

When enabled, anonymized field tips may be shared across the AiBhive network. Tips are scrubbed of names, customer addresses, and direct identifiers before sharing. You may disable sharing in the Account tab. Your employer may still retain company-specific knowledge inside Pros HQ.

6. Location & notifications

When your manager enables location tracking, the app may send periodic GPS check-ins while you are using the app — not continuous background surveillance unless your device OS shows otherwise. Push notifications may alert you to job updates from your dispatcher.

7. Billing & subscriptions

Company Pros plans are billed to the employer per the plan selected at aibhive.com/pros. Individual techs on a company roster generally do not pay separately for Pros HQ features.
Hive credits on Diagnose Web or consumer features are purchased through our payment processor. Credit balances are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change pricing with notice on the website or in-app.

8. Intellectual property

AiBhive owns the Services, branding, and software. Trade pack libraries, UI, and documentation are licensed for your use under these Terms. You retain ownership of content you create (job notes, photos) subject to the licenses needed to operate the Services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DIAGNOSES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SAFE FOR EVERY INSTALLATION.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIBHIVE AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AiBhive against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or field work performed in reliance on AI output without independent verification.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the platform. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
